Greencastle has been hosting estate sales throughout Westchester County and the tri-state area for over 10 years. We specialize in helping our clients with estate liquidations, in-home sales, auction assistance, decluttering, and preparing homes for sale.
We are 100% commission based so there is no out-of-pocket fee and no guaranteed minimum.

We can then set up a time for an in-person walk through. There is no cost for this.
In addition to in-home sales, we also can advise and assist with sending art and specialized items to auction and monetizing important collections.
Sale Preparation
When we host an in-home estate sale, we like to be thorough so a lot of pre-sale preparation goes into setting up the house. Set up: We make sure the house is set up for optimal display of all items. Glass showcases are used for jewelry and small valuables, clothing is sorted on clothing racks and in baskets. Furniture may be rearranged to allow easy movement throughout the house. Items are researched if necessary and priced. Marketing: We take care of all the marketing and promoting for the sale. This includes advertising online, email blasts to our loyal customers, advertising on multiple social media outlets, and placing professionally printed signs on the days of the sale throughout the neighborhood. Since we have been running sales for over 10+ years we have built up quite a following as well as a mailing list with 1000’s of shoppers who have come to our sales and signed up to be notified of all our future sales.
Post Sale Services
After the in-person sale is complete we can help advise with post-sale services, such as recommendations for where unsold items can be donated and clean out companies.
We do not offer removal of remaining unsold items. We are happy to arrange and oversee the cleanout for you after the sale if necessary.

ABOUT JEFF
Greencastle Estate Sales was born out of a passion for antiques. Jeff Lewis, founder, has been a collector for his entire life and began seriously collecting antiques in his early 20's, spending much of his free time at garage sales, flea markets, and antique shows. Within a short period of time, Jeff began selling antiques as a way of making extra money to fund his hobby. Now in his 40's, Jeff has been hosting estate sales throughout Westchester County and assisting families with decluttering and preparing homes for sale.
